Willow & Mae began with a simple belief: birthdays should feel deeply special for children, and genuinely enjoyable for the families celebrating them.
We create intimate, beautifully considered experiences in the comfort of home - bringing together the furniture, styling, activities, refreshments and thoughtful details that make the occasion feel extraordinary. We prepare the space before guests arrive and return to pack everything away afterwards, so parents can remain the host and enjoy the moments that matter. And for families who’d love to simply be guests at their own celebration, we also offer hosted experiences.

MEET KRISTY
After almost 20 years working in consulting, leading teams and managing complex projects, I know how to plan carefully, anticipate the details and make complicated things feel simple. But after becoming a mum, balancing the corporate world with the family life I wanted became increasingly difficult.
I had always loved creating birthdays for my two daughters - the thoughtful details, the anticipation and the joy of watching a little world come to life around them. Willow & Mae grew from a desire to make my work about more of those moments.
Named after my daughter, Willow Mae, the business brings together everything I know about thoughtful planning with everything I love about creating meaningful experiences for children.
And every Willow & Mae experience must first pass the approval of my two most discerning young critics. My daughters trial the activities, explore the details and remind me that while everything should look beautiful, what matters most is how children feel inside the experience.
